The community members, teachers and students had suffered for over a year with no running water, a serious health hazard. We partnered with the Nicaragua-based non-profit Amigos for Christ which works on water issues in northwest Nicaraguan communities. They sent their engineers who carried out the cleaning out and testing of the well. Good, clean water is now benefitting everyone in the community.
